Weekly Wrap Up~ 12/18/22

What Went Down This Week:

This was a fairly busy work week with lots of meetings, including an offsite meeting at our main office in Salem (about 2 hours from my location). We also had a few fun events for our team and the individuals we work with. We’re in our final push to prepare for some new state rules that go into effect in January, so in between celebrating the holidays, my team has been working very hard.

Personally, I’m still just really tired. And this cold weather makes my joints hurt and reminds me how old I actually am (I forget sometimes because I feel so much younger mentally). I’m hoping that the changes I’ll be making over the next year will help alleviate some of that. I also feel like I am really behind on everything that I wanted to get done before the end of the year. And I am reading a little every day, but not completing a lot of books for some reason.

Holiday Movies:

This week’s movie prompts were- A Christmas Carol (version was not specified, so I did the Muppets), Miracle on 34th Street (I did the 1994 version), Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated version), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Holiday and Die Hard.

Coming Next Week:

I talk about my best of blogging for the year, as well as my plans for the blog into 2023. I also discuss what I’ll do once I give up on Twitter (or it completely implodes) and share a list of books I hope Santa brings. I’m going to try to get a couple of reviews in as well.
