My 100 Book project started out with 70 stand alone titles and 30 series. A few of the “series” are actually multiple series within one “universe” that I lumped together (Raven Cycle/Dreamers, Shadowhunters, Rick Riordan). While I hadn’t started most of the series on the list, there were a few that were in varying levels of completion.

I put this list together in January of 2022, though admittedly, did not work on it much in 2022. I will confess that I did not note where I was as far as books completed at the start of 2023, and I should have. I could go back through my Goodreads and figure out which books were read when, but I honestly feel like that’s more work than needs to be done for this update. So we’ll basically consider this to be a baseline for future updates.

Taking into consideration all of the series, my 100 Book project actually has 263 books on it. As of this writing, I have completed 22 books, with 2 more in progress, so I’m less than 10% done with this list. I’m not really worried about those numbers though, I knew the list would take me some time to complete- especially since I didn’t make it my primary focus initially.

Right now, I have made 100 Book Project a priority and am splitting my focus between it and old, overdue review books. I’ve put together a TBR jar with all of the titles and each time I finish one, I pull the next title out. I am hoping to make a significant dent in this list this year. I’ve even already started considering titles for my next 100 books!
