I’ve been feeling a little lost… or a lot lost really. I don’t know what is going to happen if I can’t find a job. I don’t qualify for unemployment (my last employer did not contribute). And I’m 53 (almost), and ageism is real when job hunting. So it makes the job hunt that much more difficult. Living in a small town is not a lot of help either.

I’m not giving up. I’m looking for other ways I can earn money, like adding the Bookshop.org affiliate links to my sidebar. I’m also looking into other affiliations that may work well with my blog and content. And if I can turn out some decent crafts, I may sell some of them. I am trying to focus on ornaments and bookmarks, but I have a few other ideas as well.

In the interim, I keep applying for jobs, stocking up on groceries as the money runs down, and hoping something comes along soon.
