About the Blogger

Welcome to the Reinvented Reader!

I have been blogging for over 15 years, first as a weight loss blogger, and for the last several years, as a book blogger. After two fatal crashes of my previous blog, where I lost all of my content each time, I decided it was time to start fresh a couple of years ago with a new blog and a new identity.

I read a little bit of everything, though my focus leans towards Romance and YA Fantasy. You shouldn’t be surprised to see just about any book genre represented here though. I never read just one book at a time, and tend to have up to 60 books on the go at any one time (I have a system, it works for me).

As for what to expect post-wise, I post monthly wrap-ups, my reading stats, currently reading lists, bookish discussions, mental health discussion, and reviews. I am also part of the HTP Blog Tours and share excerpt spotlights for my spot on the tour. I promote diverse reads and firmly believe that reading is political, my discussion posts will reflect this.

When I’m not reading, I am usually listening to Taylor Swift or streaming The Great British Bake Off (or one of my other comfort shows) on repeat. Other obsessions include cats, red pandas, butterflies, and the color pink.

I started this blog anonymously, but decided that wasn’t necessary any longer. My name is Michelle, I used to be known in the book world as Fitkittymama. I am a 53-year old, neurodivergent, Demi-Bi woman living in Oregon. And I am in my Feminine Rage Era.
