When I first joined Net Galley in 2017, I went a little crazy requesting all the ARCs. And then various reading slumps throughout the last several years, whether due to increased work demands or mental health, made it so I couldn’t get through as many ARCs as I hoped. This has led to a pretty serious backlog of ARCs waiting to be read and reviewed.

Over the past few months, I’ve made some serious progress on getting through both new and old ARCs on my list. Last year my Net Galley percentage was 34%. As of the time of this writing, my percentage is now 46%. That’s a huge increase (for reference, I have been approved for 424 ARCs and have reviewed 197). I want to keep it going for the rest of this year and throughout 2025.

I decided to break down how many ARCs I have pending by year pending to share my progress for accountability. I’d like to revisit this once a quarter to update my progress and hopefully see a lot of these older titles get read and reviewed.
