Yesterday, I shared an overview of my personal happiness project. Today I’m going to get into the nitty gritty of the plans for the first month.

The theme for the first month is Blog. So this month I will be working on everything blog related, including setting up an editorial calendar for the year, brainstorming discussion post ideas, cleaning up the back end, creating new post headers, and more.

Here’s the plan:

Goals- 

1. Improve behind the scenes elements for a smoother publishing and reading experience
2. Develop Editorial Calendar, complete with reviews, discussion topics, and features
3. Create a newsletter with exclusive content for subscribers
4. Update visuals to illustrate message of the blog
5. Add monetization where able

Projects-

1. Read blogging books to help with behind the scenes projects
2. Fix Monster Insights
3. Update sidebar
4. Update Header
5. Update Post Headers
6. Update Post Templates
7. Plan out discussion topics for year
8. Set up yearly editorial calendar
9. Set up tentative review schedule
10. Create 4 new features (New Releases, Series Recap)
11. Design newsletter format
12. Set up sign ups
13. Determine newsletter content
14. Advertise newsletter
15. Look into Google Ads
16. Look into Alternate blog advertising
17. Look into media schedulers
18. Schedule Social Media Posts

I have all of my projects scheduled out for the month, so that each day I will be working towards completing them. I’m excited and motivated, so I am hoping for great things this month.
