Maybe it’s always been this way and I’m just now noticing, but it seems like Netflix is doing a ton of adaptations for their original movies and shows recently. Or maybe it’s just that they are adapting books that I’ve read or have on my TBR. My “watch list” is full of them at the moment.

I do like this trend, and they seem to be doing a really good job with the ones that I’ve seen so far. I was surprised by some of their choices, as they didn’t seem to be as popular. Or maybe they just were really popular and I just wasn’t aware of it, I do have a rather limited group of people that I interact with or follow virtually. I can’t wait to see which books they are going to do next (I have some suggestions!)

The disadvantage though, is that I know some series have started and then been discontinued, which is sad. I wish they would commit to completing an entire book series if they start.

I know Netflix is not alone in this, but they seem to be the ones doing the best job right now.
