We are almost 2 months into the year and so far my reading is going mostly to plan. As of today, I have completed 10 books, with 2-3 more that should be completed before the month officially ends next week. This puts me exactly on track for my Goodreads goal of 75 books.

I have completed 3 books from my 100 books list so far this year (this list is really 262 books long at the moment with the series that are included). This makes 18 books completed since I made the list. One of the books that I should finish this week is also on this list.

My main focus so far has been catching up on all of those reviews that have been hanging around forever. So far 7 of the 10 completed books this year have been for reviews. And two more were books in a series leading up to reviews. I’ve also posted 8 reviews to the blog so far this year. And my Net Galley ratio has gone from a dismal 36% at the start of December, to a slightly better 43% today. Progress is definitely being made!

All in all, as was my goal, every book I have completed this year was either directly related to a review or on my 100 books list, so I’m feeling pretty good about that. Of course, I have all of these new releases that I’ve welcomed into my home this year as well, and they are just begging to be read… but so are the other books on my shelves, so they may just have to wait their turn!
