This year I decided to go back to weekly recaps, but I am missing putting together a comprehensive monthly post. I thought I would still do a fun recap at the end of the month, sharing some different stats than I use in my weekly posts. I’ll also be linking up to the Monthly Wrap Up Round Up with It Starts at Midnight.

Happy Thoughts

Because last year was such a struggle, and this year is definitely trending in that direction, I wanted to add something into my posts that focuses on the positives. So I’m planning to share 5 happy things that happen each month.

1. My mom’s birthday was this month and we celebrated with brownies
2. I won another Goodreads Giveaway (Not Your Enemy by Madison Mars)
3. I was approved for a highly anticipated ARC (Cemetery Boys: Espiritu by Aiden Thomas) on Net Galley and was invited to read another anticipated ARC (Bridget and Gabe are Not Okay by Lex Croucher).
4. I got a new library card! My sister-in-law paid for a non-resident card with Broward County Library as part of my Christmas gift. So now I have 4 cards (Broward, Harris County, Sutherlin & QLL).
5. We got snow! Not a lot, but a light dusting that only lasted an hour or so. I love the snow and wish we saw more of it in my area of Oregon. And we’ve needed it! It’s been a very dry winter here.
