Top Ten Tuesday~ Bookstores
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Every week, Jana assigns a topic and creates a post for everyone to link to.
This week’s topic is: Favorite Bookstores OR Bookstores I’d Love to Visit. I sadly am not surrounded by a lot of bookstores. I have to drive an hour away to get to a Barnes & Noble, other than that there are a couple of used book stores in town. Needless to say, a lot of my book shopping happens online. I decided to go with the “Bookstores I’d Love to Visit” option for this one. They are in no particular order.
Powell’s, Portland, Oregon
Waterstones, London, England
Shakespeare & Company, Paris, France
Turn the Page, Boonsboro, Maryland
City Lights, San Francisco, California
Nowhere Bookshop, San Antonio, Texas
Malaprop’s, Asheville, North Carolina
Montague Book Mill, Montague, Massachusetts
Longfellow Books, Portland, Maine
I’ve lived in communities like that before that don’t have bookstores. I hope you get plenty of opportunities to visit bookstores when you go on road trips. 🙂

I have to go about an hour away for a B&N too. Someday I may see some of these like Powell’s, too. But we’ll see! 🙂
Great list! I am learning about so many bookstores through these posts.
Nice list! I’ve been to The Strand, Powell’s, and Shakespeare and Company, although I didn’t actually get to go inside that last one. COVID restrictions made for super long lines. I was willing to wait, but my family wasn’t. Ha ha.
Happy TTT!

I hope that you are able to visit all of these and more!
