This week has been tough. Though honestly the last several weeks have been tough, pretty much everything since I got back from my last vacation in October, really. I’m tired, I’m stressed out, and I am definitely in need of some good, old fashioned TLC.

Now I do generally go away for a few days for my thrice yearly readathons, but that’s not until April, and I’m honestly not sure I can wait that long. But do I really want to spend extra money right now that could be added to a down payment?

And just taking a day or two off work and hanging out at home is not an option. Home is not a relaxing place for me and is usually even more stressful than work (though this week that could be a toss up).

I just want somewhere I can hide out for a couple of nights, relax, sleep, take a couple of hot showers, give myself a mani/pedi, and just be. Bonus points if there is a view of water, whether it be the ocean, a river or a lake. Extra bonus points if there is room service so I don’t have to leave the room.
