Weekly Recap~ 5/20/23
This is the post where I recap what I’ve been doing throughout the week and share what I plan to post about next week. Starting in January 2023, I will be linking up Kim @ Caffeinated Reviewer and her weekly Sunday Post feature.
What Went Down This Week:
I decided to modify the “currently reading” section of these posts to show ALL of my current reads, rather than just highlighting 3 of them. Because some books take me infinitely longer to read, some weeks this won’t change a whole lot, other weeks it will change almost entirely. I’m still working on the Alt Text issue, so again have title and author listed below the covers for screen readers
This week was pretty up and down, with some good days and bad. I’m still struggling to get my sleep cycle back to normal, but nothing really seems to be working. In fact, I almost feel like I’ve made it worse. And all of that affected my reading this week as well, so I didn’t get much done. Ultimately, I feel like I’m floundering a little.
Posts from the Week:
Working Through My TBR
The Reinvented Reader-a-thon
Top Ten Tuesday~ What Gets in the Way
Series? Or Standalones?
Review~ Better Together
Friday Fun~ 5/19/23
Currently Reading:
Junk Magic and Guitar Dreams by T. James Logan, The Art of Hiding by Amanda Prowse, The Mystery Woman by Amanda Quick, Beautiful Stranger by Christina Lauren, Autism and the Stress Effect by Theresa Hamlin, Mr. Lemoncello and the Titanium Ticket by Chris Grabenstein, Come on In edited by Adi Alsaid
Coming Next Week:
A discussion about my reading tastes, what instantly makes me want to read a book and a review of Come in In (hopefully).
All covers link to Goodreads, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’d havde to do a lot of work on the blog to list all the current reads, the ones I remember, lol.
Reading tastes depend on my mood. How about you?

I hope the coming week is a bit kinder. Having had major battles with sleep during the past few weeks, I can sympathise. I think it’s a case of trial and error to see what works for you and what doesn’t. Take care.
That’s a lot of ongoing books – I can usually only manage 3 and they have to be totally different genres. Audio, e-book, physical book…..they each have a preferred time/place so that works well for me. Enjoy each and every book you’re reading!
