I’m getting in practice for 2023, and starting a weekly wrap-up again here on the blog. I’ll probably be making tweaks to it throughout the month (and I already know I’ll be moving it to Saturdays in the new year), to get it exactly right. Or at least get it to how I like it.

Since I share my monthly reads and my monthly book purchases, I decided that I would not include them in my weekly updates. Instead I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve done or worked on throughout the week. This month I’ll be including some of my advent items as well.

What Went Down This Week:

This week was a challenge to say the least. It was busy, there were several small fires I had to put out at work, and I felt like I couldn’t get anything accomplished. It’s probably my fault because I made the mistake of saying that my job is easy 90% of the time and only gets hard when there are one-off issues… I’ve had 3 of those one-off’s in the last couple of weeks. It didn’t help that I was incredibly tired and not sleeping well.

But it wasn’t all bad, we put out most of our holiday décor at work (and I put up some of my décor at home as well). And I got to start opening my advent calendars. This means I’ve already watched a few Christmas movies from my movie advent, ones I haven’t watched in a while, honestly- The Polar Express, Jingle All the Way, and Love Actually.
