After doing monthly wrap-ups in 2025, I decided to go back to weekly wrap-ups for 2026. I’ll be linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer.

Life

I actually have a bit more to say this week! Not that a lot happened, just that I am actually feeling a little more human and a little more productive than I have been. It’s so frustrating how little I am actually able to accomplish most days, the smallest tasks wipe me out and I am almost always in some form of pain. But I mean that is my life and I just have to push through.

I’ll be doing my mini at-home reading retreat this weekend, so hopefully I’ll get some good reading done. I’ve increased my font size on my Kindle and that is helping with sight reading on my ebooks, but physical books are still really hard. My mom dug out a magnifying glass that is helping, but it’s kind of small, so it doesn’t fit the whole line and I lose my place sometimes. I was asked why I don’t find a pair of readers, and I explained that I already own a pair of the strongest I could find (2.0) and they aren’t any stronger than my prescription (which is in desperate need of updating). I use the magnifying glass with my prescription lenses.

Speaking of a magnifying glass, I did find one that is larger and stronger that I have added to my wish list that is on my sidebar (Things I Need). I’ve also updated the list with other things I currently need. I kind of feel like I should write a post about why I need some of these items, but that also feels a little weird. I just keep hoping that I will finally find a job at some point so I don’t have to rely on other people for help. I much prefer being the person who fulfills wish lists, not the person asking for help. (*And yes, I know the list is Amazon, but I don’t know of anyone else who delivers where I live and has all of the things I need and protects my delivery address. If you know of a better company let me know and I’ll change it).
