After doing monthly wrap-ups in 2025, I decided to go back to weekly wrap-ups for 2026. I’ll be linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer.

Life

So at this point, I figure that I have a year left of all of this. I just renewed by domain for another year, I have a year left of my hosting, and my out of state library cards have a year left on them. Unless some miracle happens over the next year and I am finally able to find a job, I will no longer be able to maintain this blog or have access to a decent selection of books through the library. Of course with the current state of the world, who knows what things are going to look like a year from now anyway. But I am considering this my last year, and basing my reading and blogging plans around that premise. I think I’ll be exploring this more in a full post later this month.

For the last few years, I’ve participated in book tours with HTP Books. They paused the tours this quarter and are re-evaluating the program. I participated in a survey about the program today and can share the link with other bloggers who may be interested in participating in the program in the future. Nothing else has really changed in my life over the past week. We’ve gotten a lot of rain, which we needed. It’s not as cold as it was, and things are at a temperature where my body feels happy (50s outside, 60s inside). I did a bit of cleaning, and that’s about it. I did do my mini reading retreat last weekend, and cleared through several books. And I started my 3rd or 4th rewatch of Heated Rivalry.
