I have quite literally run out of room on my bookshelves at the moment, and I have no room to add more shelves in my current location. So what do I do? Some people would say to stop buying new books until I’ve cleared some of what I own out of the way. Those people would be wrong.

My shelves are filled 2 rows deep and have additional books stacked sideways on top to fill any remaining space between shelves. Right now, additional books are in stacks on the floor around my room. And maybe I’ll continue to stack around the room, creating new end tables out of stacks of books. Or maybe I’ll find a new home for my stuffed Eeyore collection and convert the hanging walls shelves into book shelves as well. But it wouldn’t take long to fill them up as well.

So for now I’ll continue to make more piles on the floor, because I’m definitely not going to stop buying books.
