As you are reading this, I might be driving 4 hours north to to the location of tomorrow’s award luncheon and anniversary celebration for my company. Of course, if you are reading this in the morning, I haven’t left just yet, lol. I will be working a few hours from home in the morning and attending a webinar, then hitting the road around 1pm local time.

While I have driven through the city where we are hosting the event, I’ve never actually visited. It’s right along the Columbia River that divides Oregon from Washington and from the map, it looks like our hotel is right on the river. That makes my water loving heart very happy!

My team and I will be having a team building dinner and possibly spending some time at the pool tonight. Then tomorrow will be headshots and the event itself, followed by another team building dinner with the leaders of all the regional offices. AND THEN… my vacation kicks off the following morning as I leave the hotel to head to my next one.
