Today I’m looking back at some of my personal highlights from this past year. I previously shared my workplace highlights, these are the rest of my highlights…

I think my biggest personal highlight is just becoming more accepting of who I am and embracing that. I have come to recognize what it is that I need to be healthy and happy both physically and emotionally, so now I can work on getting that for myself.

Along those same lines, staying at my job for this long and still loving it is a huge win for me. My last several jobs have not lasted longer than 2 years anywhere, and by 6 months to a year in, I was ready to leave them. But I still love my job, and I have no desire to leave it… at least until I either win the lottery or retire, so I’ll have more time for reading.

Traveling around Oregon was also a highlight for me this year. I got to explore some new places, whether traveling for work or on my own. This included a rather magical, rainy trip to the coast that I never wanted to end. I’m hoping to be able to travel more in 2023 as well.
