Unboxing~ The Sisterhood Box~ June 2021
In the past, I’ve always watched people do these great unboxing posts and videos of their subscription boxes, and I’ve always wanted to do that. Both be in a position to get monthly subscription boxes, and to share the unboxings each month.
When selecting which boxes to subscribe to, it was important to me to find things that a) were things that I loved, and b) fit with my goals and values. I’m happy to say that the boxes I have chosen do just that.
Today I’m sharing my most recent Sisterhood Box, from March. Sisterhood Box is Black-owned and woman-owned, and all products are sourced solely from minority and women-owned businesses. Each contains 3-5 items every month that range from self-care to home accessories to snacks. Pricing for this box starts at $44.95 per month.
Sisterhood box is undergoing some changes and has switched to a bi-monthly box rather than a monthly box. Going forward I will be receiving a box in August, October & December. This month’s box was really not my style at all, so I am deciding if I’m going to continue the box or look for something different. In the mean time, here’s what arrived in June.
A snakeskin patterned fanny pack. I’m terrified of snakes.
And there was also a matching compact, which I would have liked had it been any other pattern.
Also included was a set of acrylic nails. And I like the colors and patterns, but I don’t wear artificial nails and I prefer an oval shape. I guess I’m just kind of old school about nail shape.
I did like this set of hoops. They are super light-weight and a little large than most of what I currently own.
The final thing included in this box was this bottle of body oil.
Each month I’ll be sharing what arrives in my Sisterhood box, as well as my other subscription boxes (The Bookworm Box, The CatLadyBox and Nadine West).
