Review~ The Library of Lost and Found

This was an interesting story with a few surprises thrown in.
In the beginning, I didn’t really like Martha. She acted like a doormat and let everyone take advantage of her. But I was happy when she finally stood up for herself. She showed true growth throughout the story, which I liked, and by the end I was championing her.
As for the rest of the characters, most of them were not very likeable. They were all flawed, which is true of all people, but some of their flaws were pretty bad. Namely Martha’s family. Her father and sister were the worst, but her mother and grandmother had their issues as well.
There were several surprises interspersed throughout the story. While I was able to predict them, they all fit well with the storyline and helped to explain Martha’s childhood and her relationship to her family.
Overall, I liked the story and thought it well written.
