Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no one—least of all London—expected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis. Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex.…

This entire series was a ton of fun and the finale did not disappoint! London and Drew were the perfect pairing to finish out this trilogy.

I’ve mentioned before that I like the adversaries to lovers trope, and we get that here for sure, though the adversarial relationship was mostly one-sided.

I love how no-nonsense London is. She doesn’t mince words, she knows her worth, and she’s willing to put in the work to get what she wants, though she puts her own needs last (something I can relate to). She cares so much about her family, her friends, and her patients, but she’s also not willing to let people treat her badly either.

Drew knows what he wants, is secure in who he is, and also isn’t afraid to do the hard work. He cares about his team and his family, and knows when to slow down and treat himself right. And while he still might be a little competitive about things, everything he does comes from a place of good intentions.

Together they bring out the best in each other, whether in the bedroom or the hospital boardroom. They trust and respect each other, which is a truly valuable thing.

The best part, for me, is that the “third act drama” that always happens in a romance, was not a breakup or anything that tore London and Drew apart. If anything, it brought them closer together.

If you haven’t read this series yet, go grab it now! You won’t regret it!
