I’ve seen a variety of different takes on “Currently…” posts around the blogosphere, both in the book blogging community and the healthy living community where I also lived once upon a time. I honestly don’t know who started it, but I’ve always thought it looked like fun, so here’s my take.

Currently Watching:

American Ninja Warrior & Holey Moley. The new seasons have started for both of these shows, so I’ve been enjoying the new episodes. I’m always impressed by the athleticism of the competitors in America Ninja Warrior. And Holey Moley is just plain silly, but it’s fun to watch.

Currently Listening:

Still Taylor… I was listening to Red all week and had just switched it out for 1989 when I saw that Taylor is releasing her version of Red in November. I can’t wait to see what she does with this one!

Currently Planning:

Meetings with my staff to get a baseline of where things stand as I take over the office. Yes, I work with them already, but this will be in an entirely different capacity. I wasn’t their supervisor before and only worked with them peripherally.

Currently Making:

Monthly reading themes for the rest of the year. I’m setting specific TBRs at this point (or possibly at all), but I am picking out what the theme for each month will be. My themes are pretty simple- Kindle, eARCs, Series, Nora Roberts, Memoirs, & Holiday. But I’m going to make a cute little tracker for each one.

Currently Shopping:

Still getting things for my other new office. I finished the Admin office, but now I’m working on the Assistant Director’s office. A few of my person items will move over with me, but I’ll leave the other décor where it is and do a slightly different theme for my new office.

Currently Dreaming:

About buying a new car. With the promotion, I should be able to do this sooner rather than later, but I’d like to have a decent down payment first. While the vehicle I’m driving now is running well, it’s also pretty old and you never know when something else may go wrong, so I’d rather have something a little more reliable… especially when I get to the point that I’m travelling for work. I still love the Chevy Sonic, but I’m also considering the Nissan Versa.
