Review~ Radha & Jai’s Recipe for Romance

no title has been provided for this book
To All the Boys I Loved Before meets World of Dance in this delectable love story that combines food, dance, and a hint of drama to cook up the perfect romance. Radha is on the verge of becoming one of the greatest kathak dancers in the world . . . until a family betrayal costs her the biggest competition of her life. Now she has left her Chicago home behind to follow her stage mom to New Jersey.…

This was a fun read full of mouthwatering descriptions of Indian food and lots of Bollywood dancing centered at a performing arts high school.

Radha has devoted her life to dance, but never wants to perform again. Instead she’s trying to figure out what her future holds, and trying to connect with her father through cooking, while battling her mother for control of her own life.

Jai feels like he has to take care of everyone and make sure his family is taken care of, even if it means leaving his own dream to become a doctor behind.

A chance meeting sparks interest between them, and their mutual love of dance helps to draw them together. Their relationship is filled with ups and downs, as Jai feels like he needs to protect Radha at times. At one point I was yelling at him for the choices he was making.

Both characters grow and evolve throughout the story, as does their relationships with their families. I had a lot of fun with this one and finished it pretty quickly.
