I’ve seen a variety of different takes on “Currently…” posts around the blogosphere, both in the book blogging community and the healthy living community where I also lived once upon a time. I honestly don’t know who started it, but I’ve always thought it looked like fun, so here’s my take.

Currently Watching:

I was doing a lot of streaming during my vacation- mostly cooking shows and design shows, but a couple of sitcoms. Over the last week though, I’ve just been tired and pretty much not watching anything… aside from American Ninja Warrior. We’re on to the semi-finals now, and it’s so weird how so many of the top veterans did not qualify this season due to early falls. I don’t have a favorite male competitor currently, but I am a huge fan of Jesse “Flex” LeBreck… she is freaking amazing!

Currently Listening:

Still just listening to the sound of the fan in my room. This will pretty much be the case through the end of the summer, I think.

Currently Planning:

All kinds of things! Mostly work related things, but it’s all good. I’m planning training schedules and my trip to Hood River, OR for our annual awards luncheon. Plus I have a virtual conference coming up in August as well.

And I’m planning for the Reverse Readathon from Dewey’s in August and working on my August posting schedule.

Currently Making:

Plans, lol. But seriously, I’ve been trying to put together better lunches to take to work with me than what I have been. I usually just grab a pre-packaged cheese and cracker snack tray, but they aren’t really filling enough for me, so I end up snacking on chips or I’m starving when I get home an overeat at dinner. This week I put together a pasta salad with lots of veggies.

Currently Shopping:

I’ve been finishing up with office supplies and décor. There’s really nothing I’m currently looking for specifically, but I’m considering putting in another large book order since I have a little space on my shelves. And I’m already starting to think about the holidays.

Currently Dreaming:

Of having my office fully staffed and not needing to interview any more for a while.
