For someone who loves audiobooks as much as I do, I really don’t know any of the narrators. I can name 4 of them, and two of them are well known actors with distinctive voices. I’ve always been so focused on the stories themselves, that the narrators have kind of melded into the background. I want to fix that.

Right now,  I know Wil Wheaton and Will Patton, and recognize their voices right away. I also know Lorelei King and Michael Crouch when I hear their voices. And of course some books are read by the authors, usually nonfiction, like Brene Brown, whose voices I recognize. But other than that, I really don’t know anyone’s names.

There are some narrators that have read several of the books I’ve enjoyed, and I recognize that I’ve heard the voices before, but I never put the voice to a name. I want to start putting names to their voices. It’s time for a new spreadsheet.
