Time for a big truth… the photos I feature on the blog aren’t mine. They’re all free stock photos I get from pexels.com because I have pretty much zero photographic skill. Seriously, if you’ve seen my photos on Instagram, you have to admit my skills leave a lot to be desired.

But I would really like to change that. I would love to be able to take gorgeous photos. Of books, nature, animals, whatever. I mean sometimes I get lucky and I’ll take a picture that looks pretty good, but more times than not, things are off-center and out of focus.

I’m adding taking a photography course to my bucket list. I really want to share beautiful pictures of my travels and various adventures. And more than what I can get on my Iphone SE, so I’m starting to look at real cameras too. (By real cameras, I don’t mean a point a shoot, I mean and actual camera with a lens you focus, like the one in the stock photo above.

Someday, I’ll share gorgeous pictures that are my own!
