Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This has always been one of my favorite linkups and I knew I had to include it in my weekly posting schedule.

This week’s topic is “books I’d gladly throw into the ocean.” Now I’m not one to throw books into the ocean, or under the bus. Perhaps a book doesn’t work for me, it might work for someone else. So I decided to change things up and go with 10 books that I enjoyed that involve the ocean.

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett: Classic movie buff Bailey “Mink” Rydell has spent months crushing on a witty film geek she only knows online by “Alex.” Two coasts separate the teens until Bailey moves in with her dad, who lives in the same California surfing town as her online crush.
