What Went Down This Week:

So this week was a bit different. I knew it was going to be a bit sad going in, because we were saying goodbye to a member of my team who was leaving, but it ended up taking a very crazy turn. One that has left me feeling shocked, hurt, confused and, honestly, betrayed by some people who meant a lot to me.

I always try to find the positive in every given situation, but it was hard for this one. I mean, I did say I needed a vacation, so I’ve gotten a vacation of sorts… but definitely not the vacation I intended. And I got quite a bit of reading done, so there’s that. I also tackled a couple of projects.

A look at what happened, because it needs it’s own post. Definitely at least one review, and a look at some of the bookish people I want to meet. I’m reworking my editorial calendar, so I’m not sure yet what else will fall in this week, but my time is pretty much wide open.
