Uplifting Voices

Uplifting Voices~ Julian Winters

I made a commitment to uplifting voices this year, and one way that I can do that is by highlighting authors from marginalized communities and promoting diverse reads. I’ve created this series to feature different authors and my favorite books from their catalogues.

This time I am featuring Julian Winters.

About Julian:

Julian Winters is the author of the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Gold Award-winning Running With Lions; the Georgia Peach Award nominated Right Where I Left You; Junior Library Guild Selections How to Be Remy Cameron, The Summer of Everything, and As You Walk On By, as well as the upcoming Prince of the Palisades and his Adult romance debut, I Think They Love You. A self-proclaimed comic book geek, Julian spent his adolescence in upstate New York before moving to his current home of Decatur, Georgia. He can usually be found reading, swooning over rom-coms, or watching the only two sports he can follow—volleyball and soccer.

You can follow Julian on Instagram (@wintersjulian), Twitter (@julianw_writes), or his website, julianwinters.com.
