Finding Celebrations

There’s a lot of sh!t going on in the world right now, it doesn’t matter where you live. But while it is easy to get so caught up in everything that is wrong, it’s important to take the time to celebrate things that are good as well.

For those of us who struggle with our mental health, it’s important to take a step back from all of the negativity for a moment, to look for the good and embrace it. It doesn’t mean that we don’t care or are being insensitive to what is happening around us, it just means we need a moment to recharge before heading back into the fray.

So look for the celebrations in your life and honor them as well; bask in the good news, refill your well. Then go back out there and fight your battles.
