Top Ten Tuesday~ Going Rogue
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Every week, Jana assigns a topic and creates a post for everyone to link to.
This week’s topic is: Ten Most Recent Books I Did Not Finish (Feel free to tell us why if you want, but if you do please be nice to the authors and don’t tag them when you mention your post on social media!). I’m going to go rogue on this one for two reasons- 1. I generally don’t have a lot of books that I do not finish, and 2. I generally don’t share the books that I don’t finish (I don’t even rate them on Goodreads, just quietly remove them from my shelves.)
So instead of books I didn’t finish, this week I am featuring books I haven’t started… the ones that have been on my shelves for the longest, but I keep passing them over in favor of newer reads. Now I can’t remember which books are actually the oldest but I’m going from my Goodreads shelves (I joined in 2011).
Beautiful Dreamer by Elizabeth Lowell
One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
Deadly Gamble by Linda Lael Miller
Breaking Point by Suzanne Brockmann
Every Day in Tuscany by Frances Mayes
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver
Forget Me Not by Marliss Melton
The Art of Eating In by Cathy Erway
Last Man Standing by Cindy Gerard
All covers link to Goodreads
I haven’t read any of these but Nora Roberts’ books can be hit or miss for me.
I hope you like all of them.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I read your first two YEARS ago and enjoyed them. I hope they live up to the hype after all these years when you finally read them.
You are very kind about your DNF books! I really like Frances Mayes, even though one of her books is on my current DNF list but that was because my book club didn’t like it–I might go back to it someday!
I DNF a fair amount of books, but I don’t publicize the fact either and I DEFINITELY don’t review them. That just seems unfair! I do have a DNF list on Goodreads, but that’s so I don’t forget which are DNFs and accidentally pick them up again. LOL.
Happy TTT!

I hope you enjoy all of these! I have a DNF shelf on Goodreads but that’s more for me so I don’t accidentally go back to one of them in the future, forgetting that I DNF’ed them, I don’t really talk about what I DNF much other than that.
