Top Ten Tuesday~ Google It

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Every week, Jana assigns a topic and creates a post for everyone to link to.

This week’s topic is: Weird or Funny Things I’ve Googled Thanks to a Book. This is a weird one for me because I can’t really think about things that I’ve Googled  based on my reading. I mean, I check Goodreads for spoilers sometimes or look up authors, but I don’t usually Google things from the stories. Because I could only come up with four book related searches, I decided to share all of my recent search history. There are only 9 items.

March national month– When I put together my monthly TBR themes, I look at what the national month listings are to see if something triggers a theme.

Asia– I was looking for all of the countries that are located within Asia. I have a general idea where countries are located, but I confuse some of the smaller country locations.

Bursitis knee– This one is related to the other knee one below. I was told this is the probable issue with my knee, but not a firm diagnosis.

Schitt’s Creek– someone asked for my favorite episodes, so I was looking them up.

Sharp, sudden knee pain– I have had 3 separate experiences over the last year where I have gotten sharp, stabbing pain in my left knee out of the blue. It generally goes away relatively quickly, but during one instance recurred over a few days (The other two were one-offs). The pain is a 15 on a scale of 1-10, so it’s pretty intense.

Tina Fey– I was reading Bossypants and wanted to see who she was married to.

Football scores– I was looking for the final score of the AFC championship game, because Taylor Swift.

Shadowhunters reading order– I’ve already finished The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices and I wasn’t sure which to read next.

Roseburg Public library– I was checking their catalog to see if they had a book my library doesn’t have. I work in Roseburg, so it would make sense to get a card there… if I didn’t have to pay for it I would already have one. (They didn’t have the book either).
