Tours, Reviews, and Other Bookish Things

Last year I posted pretty sporadically and my posts were all over the place in topic. This year I’m bringing back a bookish focus. I’ll be posting about my healing journey, yes, but I’ll also be posting more about the books I’m reading as well. And hopefully reading a lot more so I’ll have more to talk about.

I mentioned this in a post last year when the Fall tours kicked off, but I will be participating in the Harlequin Trade Publishing tours again this year. I generally do excerpts for my tour commitments, but will also review the books at some point as well. I’m not part of any other tour companies or publisher programs, but am open to them down the road.

And then there’s the reviews. I made a lot of progress on long overdue eARCs last year, but still have a long way to go. I will be working through more of these books throughout the year. But, I’ve also had some publishers reach out to me with eARCs publishing in 2024 and have started requesting on Net Galley again (I can’t help it!). So you will be seeing a mix of current releases and backlist books being reviewed.

In addition, I’ll be posting my TBR every month, as well as a monthly wrap-up. At this time I’m not planning to do a separate book haul post because I won’t really be doing any book shopping until I increase my income. But I will include any books I do acquire in my wrap-up.

As topics crop up on social media (as they always do), I’m sure I’ll have some discussions surrounding the book world to include as well. Or maybe I’ll think of a fun topic that I want to play around with.
