Unboxing~ The CatLady Box~ May 2021

In the past, I’ve always watched people do these great unboxing posts and videos of their subscription boxes, and I’ve always wanted to do that. Both be in a position to get monthly subscription boxes, and to share the unboxings each month.

When selecting which boxes to subscribe to, it was important to me to find things that a) were things that I loved, and b) fit with my goals and values. I’m happy to say that the boxes I have chosen do just that.

CatLady Box is designed for cat lovers and comes with things for both the cat mom and the kitties themselves. each box comes with a T-shirt and the price of the box is determined partially by shirt size, starting at $38.33 per month, sizes range between XS-5XL. You also get 3-4 cat themed items plus 2 cat toys each month. Other perks of this box: you can add in selected additional items each month if you want, the price varies depending on the item. They also donate a portion of their proceeds every month to different shelters. So cats, plus giving back? Definitely the box for me.

May’s theme for the box was Cat Mom for Mother’s Day.

Keeping with the theme, this month’s Cat Mom T-shirt.

I also received this cat bracelet. It’s kind of hard to tell in the picture, but the cut of the bracelet ends for a cat head silhouette.

Also included was this adorable cat vase. Look at the tail on the back! This went to work with me and is now on my desk with silk flowers in it.

Then there were this month’s cat toys. How cute are they?! They’re almost too cute for the cats to play with.

One fun thing with this box is that you can add extras each month if you want. Right before the boxes are scheduled to ship, they send out an email to the “store” for any available addons for the current box. Usually it’s items from past boxes that you may have missed or want more of. If you choose any of the addons, they ship with your box and you are billed for them. This time, I chose a cute tote bag, which I’ve already been getting lots of use out of.

Each month I’ll be sharing what arrives in my CatLady Box, as well as my other subscription boxes (The Bookworm Box,  The Sisterhood Box and Nadine West).
