Life

The summer heat has definitely arrived, even though summer itself doesn’t start until this weekend. We had such a mild winter and a dry spring, so I’m a little worried about what this summer will be like. Temps in the mid-90s in the middle of June certainly isn’t a good sign. And don’t get me started on the fire risks.

Reading was pretty good this week, though I had a book I kind of wanted to DNF. It’s an eARC (not recent), and I have a personal policy that I finish ARCs (no matter how long it takes me), so I’ve been pushing through. It kind of slows me down a bit.

I continued working on my birthday week stuff. I’ve finished the playlists and am working on pulling together everything for my various activities and projects. I’ll finish that this week and work on agendas. Only 3 weeks to go!

I’m having an issue with linkups right now. I’m not able to join any linkups that require an image, for some reason it’s not recognizing the images on my site? It started with just the Inlinks version, but now it’s affecting Mr.Linky as well. Not sure what is happening, but hopefully I’ll get it figured out soon.
