When I was planning out the types of posts I wanted to include in my new space, I toyed with the idea of a monthly wrap-up, as is tradition with many bloggers. I’ve done it myself in the past. But, since I decided to do weekly wrap-ups, and they’re pretty thorough, I thought a monthly wrap up would be redundant. So I decided to do a little twist on the classic and share what’s coming up on the blog in the next month.

I am no longer making big TBRs each month, because I’ve had such a reading slump over the last year, but here are a few books that I would like to get through in May (the Mindy Kaling ones are all super short):

My posting schedule is written for May and I’ll be continuing with the features I introduced this month. Here are a few things to expect:

Giveaway– I’ll be launching a new giveaway on May 7th for a Book of Choice (open internationally).

Unboxing– A 4th unboxing will be added to the lineup: I’ll be sharing the outfits received in my Nadine West* shipment each month.

Diversity Spotlight– I’ll be highlighting books by Mexican-American authors on my TBR as well as looking for some Sapphic recs.

Discussions– Topics include shopping with Amazon, Goodreads vs. StoryGraph, and how social media affects my mental health.

Charity Spotlight– In May I’ll be sharing The Innocence Project.

Reviews– For Better or Cursed & Chasing Lucky

My promotion goes into effect on May 1st, so that’s exciting!

I’m planning a big physical book order this month, as a reward!

And I’m starting to plan a secret project that will hopefully become more fully formed in the month to come. (Not book or blog related).
