Recapping January
This year I decided to go back to weekly recaps, but I am missing putting together a comprehensive monthly post. I thought I would still do a fun recap at the end of the month, sharing some different stats than I use in my weekly posts. I’ll also be linking up to the Monthly Wrap Up Round Up with It Starts at Midnight.
Happy Thoughts
Because last year was such a struggle, and this year is definitely trending in that direction, I wanted to add something into my posts that focuses on the positives. So I’m planning to share 5 happy things that happen each month. In January, I basically did two things- sleep and read, with a little bit of blogging thrown in for good measure, but I did still manage to find some happy.
- Watching (and re-watching) Heated Rivalry
- Watching I Wish You All the Best (based on the book by Mason Deaver- this movie was SO GOOD!)
- Winning a Goodreads Giveaway (Our Ex’s Wedding by Taleen Voskuni)
- My aunt visiting my mom (she’s been lonely and misses her sisters).
- Interacting more with fellow book lovers online.
