Life

Weirdly, I had a great reading week… and a terrible headache and eye issues all week. Of course, my reading is predominantly audio, so my eyes were not really involved. But a headache still kept me from doing a lot of other things. One thing it didn’t keep me from, though, is posting my itinerary for me Celebrate 55 birthday week. My first Green Bag pickup is this week for the local food bank. I managed to fit everything I bought into one bag, but it was close. I’m just glad that I can help, even if it’s just in a small way. I really want to plant a garden and grow vegetables for mutual aid down the road, but I don’t know if that will be possible. Especially since I’ve never gardened before and we don’t have an area to plant in. I’m hoping I can get some standing beds eventually (or build them). Of course, I’ll need mesh over them as well, or I’ll just be feeding the deer (we also have skunks, fox, and opossums who visit… not to mention the barn cats and their prey).
