January 2025 Wrap Up
Life
I was ready to go on the first, then almost immediately got sick and barely left my bed for a solid week. And then everything went kind of crazier with the world, so it’s been a roller coaster of a month and an interesting start to the year. I knew 2025 was going to be an incredibly challenging year and it has certainly started out that way.
My reading progress started out really slow this month as well. I was hoping to replicate last January when I finished 31 books, but that wasn’t to be this year. It took me a lot of work, considering it was almost mid-month before I even finished my first book, but I did finish 15 books, which puts me on track for my goal.
As far as my other goals, I’ve been blogging consistently and being more active on social media, though not to the extent that I was originally hoping. I did leave Facebook, and I am not super active on Instagram. But I am very active on Threads and doing better on Bluesky and Tumblr. I haven’t done any videos on Tiktok yet, but I’m working my way up to it.

You really have been doing a lot of reading! Hope you are feeling better.
I am fighting arthritis and limping along, hoping for better weather. I often think of moving to the desert !
I’m checking out your review for The Sound of Stars its been on my TBR list forever.

I had a similar challenging reading in January. I’m really starting to enjoy Bluesky more. And I’m surprised that I like Discord now. The rest I don’t visit very often. I hope February is a better month.

I love Bluesky. I feel like people actually see my posts on there. The book community over there is pretty big too, so that’s fun.
Despite a difficult start you finished strongly, I hope February is fabulous!
Wishing you a great reading week
