Weekly Recap~ 1/14/23

This is the post where I recap what I’ve been doing throughout the week and share what I plan to post about next week. Starting in January 2023, I will be linking up Kim @ Caffeinated Reviewer and her weekly Sunday Post feature.

Sunday Post

What Went Down This Week:

This was a cleanup week at work. Last week I was pretty much on my own, but this week everyone was present and accounted for, so I was able to focus on cleaning and organizing everything. I still have bins of Christmas decorations hanging out in my office, waiting for a trip to storage, but other than that, everything looks good.

On the personal front, I’ve narrowed my car search down to 3 potential cars and will be applying for financing as soon as I decide which one I want to go with. So hopefully within the next week or so, I will have a new set of wheels.

Project Update:

I’m continuing to do well with my projects overall… now that we’re 14 days in. One of my projects is the book 52 Small Changes by Brett Blumenthal, where you make one small change each week for an overall healthier, happier life. Week one was drinking water; according to the chart I should be drinking 15 cups a day- that seems like an impossible feat for me, so I’m starting with 8 cups per day and have been doing very well. I’ll start increasing my water each month as I go along.

Week 2 has not been so successful, because it is sleep. I am supposed to sleep 7-8 hours per night every night. I made a goal of 7 hours, but have only hit it twice so far this week. I generally sleep about 6 hours most nights, but I know I need more.

More reviews are happening, plus another look at my bookish goals for the year. I’ll also be looking at some cultural celebrations and some winter friendly workout options that I’m trying right now.
