Life

I got a bit overwhelmed with everything I had on my plate, so I took a step back and took some time away from the blog. I decided that, while I love all of the book lists and memes, that they are just too much for me right now. It takes a LONG time to put together just one book list, and doing two every week is incredibly taxing. So for the foreseeable future, I’m scaling back my blogging to discussions, reviews, and recaps. That will probably change again down the road, but for now, I’m keeping it simple.

I also stepped back on a few of my personal projects, but I’m still focused on eating healthy. It’s not hard, once I prep everything on Saturdays, and I feel so much better. I’m still struggling with my energy levels, but I’m trying a few different things to help with that.

My other focus has been reading, of course, it was a little slow for a few days, but is back to my usual level again now. Of the 7 books listed, 4 of them have been finished in September.

We’ve also experienced a radical weather shift from temps in the 80s and mostly sunny to pouring down rain in a matter of days. We’ve desperately needed the rain after a very dry winter and a hot summer, so I’m glad it’s back. It will hopefully help with the fires still burning here in Oregon as well (though thunderstorms are possible and that brings potential lightning strikes.
