This year I decided to go back to weekly recaps, but I was missing putting together a comprehensive monthly post. I thought I would still do a fun recap at the end of the month, sharing some different stats than I use in my weekly posts. Happy Thoughts

Because last year was such a struggle, and this year is definitely trending in that direction, I wanted to add something into my posts that focuses on the positives. So I’m planning to share 5 happy things that happen each month (some months are easier than others).

1. I won another Goodreads Giveaway, my 3rd so far this year!
2. I participated in my 24th Dewey’s 24-hour Readathon
3. My brother got a pretty big promotion.
4. I finally got to watch the Taylor Swift documentary The End of an Era. I love her!
5. At the end of 4 months, I am over halfway to my reading goal for the year.
