In My Life:
In some ways it has been really nice to take things back to the beginning and start completely fresh as a book blogger. I know what I like, but I can also try so many new things with this new brand. And being anonymous allows me to explore some more personal topics that I avoided before.
But then there’s also the struggle of going from a solid reader base to nothing and having to find followers again. I think the biggest wake up for me was trying to run a giveaway that launched 2 days after the blog and expecting people to enter when no one has even found the blog yet. It’s been frustrating and a real eye-opener for me. I mean, I always said that the numbers didn’t matter and that I blogged out of love. So I guess now is the time that I have to prove it.
On the personal front, I think my body has finally decided that since I am never going to get alone time again to recharge my batteries (at least not for a while any way), that I’m just going to sleep all the time. I swear I end up taking a nap almost every day and usually for a couple of hours. Of course this means I’m not getting anything else done. But I had been feeling so tired and run down for a while now, that I guess my body has just said, that’s it.
On the Blog:
Currently looking for a new theme. While I love the aesthetics of this theme, I don’t like that it doesn’t center photos and that my book covers post in a line from top to bottom rather than across.

Thank you! And yeah, I haven’t been fighting the naps too hard.
Glad I found you via the Sunday Post! Welcome back to blogging—the blog name really fits. 🙂
Thanks again! And as I was coming up with different names for the blog, Reinvented Reader just stood out, so I knew it was the one.
I think starting over fresh does sound appealing, but I can definitely understand the frustration too. And I have the same problem with my theme as far as centering pictures and and setting up posts- they made changes recently and now it seems harder than it was before for me to make tweaks to my posts. Oh well…
Thanks for the links!
